Microsoft Dynamics 365 is made up of a number of applications, We have the “traditional” CRM apps like sales, marketing and customer service. Additionally other applications such as Field Service and Project Service Automation (PSA) extend the capabilities of Dynamics 365 vastly.
Both products share some common DNA! Concepts of resources and scheduling are common to both applications although they are used to address very different business scenarios.
Field Service is a powerful application that can be used whenever you have a need to send engineers on site. Work orders can be scheduled and the engineers use a mobile application to record progress.
